Web Master is also known as website administrator,its main focus is to
1. to maintain website,
2 . web servers
3. Operation hardware and software,
4. check traffic though the website.
Some webmasters of larger sites may also deal with heavy volumes of email, which are often questions related to the content on the website or general computer-related inquiries.
Whereas a software engineer is an engineer who applies the principles of engineering to the design, development, maintaining, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers or anything containing software work
So it is necessary that Web master should smarter than a software engineer because software engineer put
the main duties of a software engineer involve programming computers i.e .to implement practically
where as webmaster promote the website ,increase the traffic so that our website should recognise by the user and work of software engineer get noticed....so webmaster should be smarter.
